Workflows are your restaurant’s digital crew. These are automated sequences that trigger based on actions — like someone submitting a form, missing a call, or leaving a review.

Once they fire, they do the work for you: tagging customers, sending messages, alerting staff, and keeping your marketing machine running 24/7.

No extra hires. No forgetting to follow up. Just set it, tweak it, and let it roll.

Between running shifts, writing schedules, ordering food, produce, liquor, beer, wine, and covering call outs — who’s got time to send a thank-you email or chase down a birthday promo?

That’s where workflows step in.

How to Turn On and Customize Workflows in REBEL ONE

You don’t have to build from scratch. We’ve preloaded five high-impact workflows into every Rebel One account. Here’s how to activate and make them your own:

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log into Rebel One

    Get inside your account and click on the Automation tab in the left-hand menu.

  2. Open the ‘Workflows’ Section

    You’ll see a list of prebuilt workflows under the “REBEL ONE Email Work Flows" Folder

  3. Click on a Workflow to Open It

    Start with one — we recommend “New Contact → Welcome Email” to begin.

  4. Turn It On

    Top-right corner: flip the toggle from Draft to Published. That’s it — it’s live.

  5. Customize the Messages

    Inside each workflow:

    -Click on the Send Email or Send SMS step

    -Edit the message with your tone, offer, and branding

    -Hit Save

  6. Edit Triggers (Optional)

    Want it to fire off a different action? Click the Trigger at the top to adjust when it runs.

  7. Test It!

    Submit your own form, miss a call, or trigger an event to see the automation fire. Debug if needed.

The Prebuilt Workflows in REBEL ONE

  1. New Contact → Welcome Email

    Trigger: Contact created

    Actions: Apply tag, send welcome email, notify staff

  2. Form Submitted → Tag + Confirmation

    Trigger: Form submitted (e.g., Birthday Club)

    Actions: Apply tag, auto-reply email, notify staff

  3. Inactive Contact (60 Days) → Win-Back

    Trigger: Last email open > 60 days

    Actions: Apply Dormant tag, send “We miss you” message

  4. Positive Review → Thank You

    Trigger: Review left (Google/Facebook)

    Actions: If 4–5 stars, send thank-you message, apply Happy Customer tag

Final Word: Keep It Simple

Start with one or two workflows. Get them live. Watch how they perform. Then refine and expand.

You don’t need a giant "tech stack" — you need systems that work while you’re working— or taking a day off (You deserve it).
